Observe & Interact
Every site has a story — how water moves, where the sun falls, what already grows. I spend time reading your land before recommending a single plant.

Catch & Store Energy
Rainfall, sunlight, and organic matter are resources to be captured and cycled on-site — not lost to runoff, erosion, or bare soil.

Use Edges & Value the Marginal
The edges between sun and shade, wet and dry, mown and wild — these transition zones are often the most biologically productive places on a property.

Design from Patterns to Details
I start with the big picture — site hydrology, sun arcs, soil patterns — and work toward the details of species selection, spacing, and care.
